KARACHI, 20th January, 2019: Named ‘Dante’ tech startup, baseH Technologies has introduced Pakistan’s first-ever business robot journalist, who can write and publish a comprehensive report on stocks traded at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) within a few seconds after the market’s closure.

The award-winning tech startup, baseH Technologies, Founder and CEO Anisuddin Sheikh said that knowing the requirements of stock market, the robot journalist will prepare the report very next minute after the closure of stock market. The Pakistan Stock Exchange is closed at 3:30pm and it gets the daily report published before it is 3:31pm, he added

Dante, had been writing the reports for the past few days, he said at a signing ceremony to get seed money from the Elahi Group of Companies for the project at the National Incubation Centre (NIC) at NED University on Saturday.

baseH Technologies is also planing to equip the robot to report on health, education and culture sectors in future. Currently, it can write reports on sports, weather and can make videos on share trading and gets it uploaded at YouTube Sheikh told.

Founder of the startup is also in discussion with media houses to bring in the robot journalism in the industry to write editorials.

While telling about Dente, Sheikh said that It could also help people including financial experts and analysts take better decisions and reduce their workload significantly, at securities brokerage houses, asset management companies and in other sectors in the financial industry, as they had to research a lot to take their investment and divestment decisions.

The software would significantly improve the quality of work and efficiency at a reduced time and a nominal cost, operating at media and financial houses.
