(W.L.GEORGE SAYS) Wars teach us not to love our enemies but to hate our allies’’Prime Minister Imran Khan confiscates a wise decision about war considering the complete catastrophe of Pakistan and India.Nuclear war becomes the cause of disaster for the whole world in many divergent ways.Benjamin Franklin says:‘’There never was a good war or a bad peace’’Sixty six million years ago ,a mountain seized an asteroid ,travelling ten times faster than a bullet from a serrate rifle, stumbled into the oceans.The gigantic energy of that impact hold rocks and becomes the cause of ruination.Rock and water rose far above the earth atmosphere and spread over the planet.As it cooled ,the drops of rock about the size of grain of sand ,transfigure into an immense swarm of shooting stars.
The shooting stars invade the earth of the hemisphere and heated the upper hemisphere into a thousand degree FH.Standing at the ground,the dinosaur saw the blue sky which becomes a shield of red hot lava.David Hardy ,a scientific artist ,imagine the fate of the dinosaur into his painting.The energy of the blowing sky is like that of an electric ovan.The stormy sky started to put everything on fire.Noteworthy clouds of smoke rose into the upper atmosphere and block the sun to halt the sunlight from reaching to the ground.It became cold and dark. Photosynthesis started and plants and animals in the ocean and on the land starved to die .
The dinosaurs did not do anything wrong that cause their death.There was just fate that an asteroid thumped the earth and killed 70 percent of the species that we know on the planet.Unfortunately, in our life times ,we may experience the same fate as if the dinosaurs.But I am not talking about another asteroid collision.I am talking about a nuclear war. A nuclear war will have many of the same phenomenon that the dinosaurs experienced.But this time it absolutely would be the human beings answerability.
Fortunately there are things that human beings can do to prevent them from happening۔In 2nd world war,fleets of hundred or even a thousand airplanes were used to bomb a single city. But in the invention of the atomic bomb only one airplane and one bomb is needed which would carry only one atomic bomb with the power of fifteen thousand times of TNT.
A hundred thousand people died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Over time even more powerful bombs are manufactured .Nuclear weapons kill people in different ways 1.Through shock wave ,so powerful that it can knock down country buildings and kills everyone within that zone.2.Through radiation .The radiation of atomic bomb can eliminate 50 to 90 percent of the population in a very short period.3.Through blast of extremely bright light having the power to burn the exposed skin within a very short period of time.These terrifying scenarios,I am talking about,are just as each side uses one nuclear weapon.
The fatal effect of atomic bomb can be considered easily without any doubt.In a war like that 400 million people probably die on the planet.The red smoke ,after the war of India and Pakistan ,can cause the unintended destruction of the whole world.It only takes about fifteen days for the smoke to cover the entire earth and would rise between 20 to 50 miles about the surface.As estimated that in the war between India and Pakistan,the other countries would lose 10 to 40 percent of the yields of corn to grow for years afterwards because of the bad weather.The entire world has enough food to feed the population for 60 days unless agriculture produces more food۔Mikhail Gorbachev says۔‘’Models made by Russian and American scientists showed that a nuclear war would result in a nuclear winter that would be extremely destructive to all life on earth; the knowledge of that was a great stimulus to us ,to people of honor and morality,to act in that situation ’International physicians have estimated that one to two billion people would die after the war between India and Pakistan due to starvation.
No crops would grow due to extremely cold weather. 90 percent of the population on the planet would starve to death and civilization would be destroyed.And no one would be save. Not those in countries with no nuclear weapons.Not those in countries that participated in war and not those on other side of the planet when the explosions would occur.Walking towards our disaster we can do things to stop the nuclear war and prevent starvation.President Ronald Reagan says ‘’A great many reputable scientists are telling us that such a war could just end up in no victory for anyone because we would wipe out the earth as we know it
