Karachi: PTCL Training Centre celebrated International Women’s Day with its female employees through an event on generation equality and realizing women’s rights. Women from different walks of life were invited to share stories on their struggles and journey as working women. Sheeba Shah (DIG Prison), Aliya Burney (Social Activist),  Anum Shakeel (Ambassador- World Pulse & Global Shaper), Uzma Alkarim (Head of Gender Sensitivity-GEO) and Shabana Ikram (GM-Service Quality, PTCL) were the guest of honour on the occasion.

Sheeba Shah (DIG Prison) quoted, Some of my juniors were avoiding to salute me so I said, You should salute to the rank, not to Men or Women.

Anum Shakeel (Ambassador- World Pulse & Global Shaper) said, Believe in your self and just trust in the plans of Allah, you never know what is written in your destiny. It was not at all easy to survive in the male-dominated society but work hard and be persistent.
Shabana Ikram and Khudeja Shah from PTCL organizing team thanked the guests for their valuable time and presented the token of appreciation to the amazing guests.
