Rana Muhammad Akram, Vice President for Federation of Realtors Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (Junaid Qayyum Abbasi) – COVID-19 has halted the economic activities through out the world, the situation is not different in Pakistan, the already shivering economy is effected by the pandemic but now it seems that the business is on track. Amid all the adversaries, the real estate sector of the country is the prime focus of the current government that is why it was given the special status of the industry, it was said by Vice President for Federation of Realtors Pakistan, Rana Muhammad Akram. This step will definitely help eradicate poverty but due to lack of performance by the Government departments specially housing departments, Housing Foundation, Housing authorities, CDA this plan isn’t working in full swing, Rana Akram said. He added that PM Imran Khan is keen to promote this industry by giving relief package in the current budget like never before which shows the importance of the Real Estate industry for the country. But having stated above the concerned departments need to make sure for the implementation of this policy otherwise all this will go in vain. Corruption is on the peak, which definitely is hurting the economy of Pakistan. Special steps are required to stop corruption in all segments which is the root cause of all disasters.
