Truth is the most important consideration in any relationship

CommentaryTruth is the most important consideration in any relationship

A strong and a trustworthy relationship have its firm roots on the grounds of honesty coupled up with loyalty. It’s particularly true for the urban organizations, such as the 20th century, where lies can deteriorate a relationship to the extents where it can’t come to the stage of betterment.  Most lies are spoken because there are too embarrassing or utterly harsh, it can kill the relationship completely and people fear taking chances of losing the one they were so direly in love with and have fore witnessed an excellent aura of companionship with   .  In this scenario, it creates even harsher outcomes when the other person finally becomes aware regarding what bitter truth had been kept veiled from him. It can lead to divorces, separation, breakups:  all which falls into the category of the utmost vile outcomes. This probably wouldn’t have had happened if the partner had said the truth instead of cushioning it with lies.

“Secret and lies kill relationships. No matter how careful you are, you will get caught,” an aspiring quotation has succeeded to convey the hidden idea that a lie, when discovered, is enough to create doubt in every truth, creating mounting instability to the relationships which proves excruciating to the partners and they end up separated, either emotionally, or physically.

However, there are times when lies can help one save their relationship such as marriage or friendship. It sometimes help the companion feel the utter love of their partner, especially when the partner speaks a lie in order to save the reputation of their loved one or  to prevent the self-dignity and self-respect of their companion to shatter, though it’s a rare case. This can be portrayed by the situation where a wife, deeply in love, lies to her husband about the job he is so indulgingly enjoying. “You’ve earned it” instead of saying, “My dad used his contacts, darling!” if we see through it contently, the truth might have created a drastic effect on their relationship and most doubtlessly would have led the husband to think: oh I am so useless.

And then another most popular circumstance where a best friend asks you how her new dress or her latest hairdo looks and you could hear the concealed giggles of your coworkers or schoolmates. You would most probably choose to complement her instead of advertising her ugly looks. You’ve saved her from humiliation but what next? Would you choose to stay put to what you’ve told her? Oh, if I were you, I’ll find a chance to confront her, and hold her back from any further shame.

“Lying is one of the quickest ways to ruin a relationship,” the following reference concludes the idea that a lie depreciates even a most healthy relationship whilst a truth, no matter how bitter it is, would always end up with a positive aftermath, be it the strengthening of the relationship or the slackening of your heart.
