Pakistani Youth’s IT Expertise Gains International Recognition, Says IT Minister

Morocco: In an event held at the GITEX Africa Digital Summit and Global Tech Exhibition in Morocco, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Syed Amin Ul Haque, highlighted the increasing acknowledgment of Pakistan’s youth expertise in the Information Technology and Telecom sector worldwide.

During meetings with various international delegations, Minister Haque emphasized the unique significance of Pakistan’s skilled IT professionals, their favorable time zone, and fluency in English with excellent accents, all contributing to their valuable role in the digital world. The discussions encompassed global challenges and the revolutionary initiatives undertaken by the Government of Pakistan in the IT & Telecom sector, according to a news release.

Moreover, an important meeting was held between the Minister and Ms. Deemah Al-Yahya, the Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), to explore bilateral issues and discuss measures to enhance digital cooperation among DCO member states.

Additionally, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Saeed Al-Gerghavi, engaged in a meeting with IT Minister Syed Amin Ul Haque, focusing on investment opportunities within Pakistan’s IT and telecom sector.
