Senior Journalist Faheem Anwar Takes Helm as Chairman of Yardimeli Pakistan, Strengthening Pakistan-Turkey Philanthropic Ties

ISLAMABAD: The Board of Governors (BoG) of the Turkey-Pakistan non-governmental organization Yardimeli, a prominent charitable organization, convened in Islamabad on Thursday to elect senior journalist and social worker Muhammad Faheem Anwar as its new chairman.

During the meeting held at the organization’s Islamabad office, attendees unanimously elected Muhammad Faheem Anwar as the new chairman in recognition of his dedicated philanthropic efforts and commitment to Yardimeli’s mission. Faheem Anwar Khan has been actively involved with Yardimeli since 2016, where he has consistently contributed to various charitable initiatives.

The outgoing chairman of Yardimeli, Saif Ul Islam, was also honored during the gathering for his relentless dedication to the organization’s development and philanthropic endeavors.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Faheem Anwar Khan, expressed his gratitude to the Board of Governors for placing their trust in him. He pledged to work tirelessly for the betterment of society and emphasized plans to expand Yardimeli’s reach by establishing young volunteer networks within different educational institutions.

Chairman Faheem Anwar Khan further highlighted his commitment to strengthening the close relationship between the brotherly nations of Pakistan and Turkey through Yardimeli’s activities. His appointment is seen as a significant step towards bolstering the organization’s philanthropic efforts and furthering its mission to provide assistance to those in need.

The election of Faheem Anwar Khan as the new chairman marks a promising chapter for Yardimeli, as it looks forward to continued growth and the pursuit of humanitarian goals in Pakistan.

Faheem Anwar Khan also serves as Executive Director of The Dayspring.
