Cheating in Final Exams : Quality Matters

Nowadays many Universities are conducting final exams online. Due to its online nature, it is not possible for universities to take subjective exams so they guides instructors to take an exam of objective type. In this environment, it is easy for students to cheat in online exam. Many students make WhatsApp group together and when the exam time starts every student captures a pic of true answers and share in the group and many other students are using other tools for cheating like zoom. What students have learned in this semester? The simple answer is nothing. In this way, COVID-19 affects the quality of education. Many professors record lectures and uploaded on youtube, but they have poor voice quality and many other issues. But universities have only concerned about fees. They didn’t care about student concerns. Online study has its own nature and style. Universities should give basic teaching to instructors in a week after the pandemic started. So they have the ability to use online tools effectively and apply different techniques to ensure maximum learning. Instructors should follow the format of open book paper, so they test the abilities of students to apply knowledge and information. However, universities should follow online study frameworks to reduce the effects of COVID-19 and enhance quality education.
