Awareness about women rights is need of the hour, Gull

ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP/TD Reporter): Minister of State for Climate Change, Zartaj Gull has emphasised the need for creating awareness to address issues relating to women of Pakistan. Spreading awareness about women rights was imperative to empower the females of this country, she expressed while talking to media.

Manifestation of women role model is need of the hour for the society to uplift She said.

We have made amendment in Punjab Revenue Act, she said adding that there are help line to have right type of information regarding property rights for women.

To a question she said climate changes had negative impact on food security.

In reply to another question she said that department of law and justice was working for women rights to address their genuine issues.

She added that there was need to implement laws in the country regarding women.
