Captain Junaid Shaheed Tennis Tournament concludes

Rawalpindi: By defeating Muhammad Yayah and Imran Shahid by 6-2, 6-4 in the open doubles final, Muhammad Farzam Raja and Noor Muhammad won the Captain Junaid Shaheed Tennis Tournament at 502 Workshop Tennis Club. Major General Rehan Akbar Baki was the Chief guest and gave away the prizes to the players. He appreciates the efforts of Former Davis Cupper Inam ul Haq for organizing tennis tournaments every month in the memory of martyred of Defence Forces who sacrificed their lives to safe gaurd their home land. Inam ul Haq, Director Tournament thanked chief guest for taking time out of his busy schedule. He also thanked Chairman, Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) ftikhar Ahmed Rao and Secretary Rashid Malik who provided trophies, medals and balls for the tournament and SVP, PLTA Rizwan Mashahdi for providing tennis facility in Shalimar Tennis Club, Rawalpindi. Inam ul Haq also congratulated newly elected President PLTA Dr. Raheel Siddiqui (Secretary HEC). 24 players participated in the week long tournament.
