Exploitation of Populism

Leadership in Pakistan mostly has been full of false promises that has led people to question.

At the time of election campaigns the Candidates for particular seats forget their limitations of intention for serving, and they come up with a lot of promises that make people to support them but unfortunately after they get elected, mostly representatives forget to turn to their respective areas.

This is called exploitation of populism, when you don’t care about the needs of the people after promising to their face.

This exploitation of populism makes people to think for anti democracy stances, because mostly democracy has been used for personal interest and power which is an insult for respected democracy or for a respected democratic country.

The needs of the people or if I say the basic necessities of people should never be ignored, Karachi has been facing water issues from years, and now they repeat the speeches of the candidates when they address during election campaigns.

State constist of two societies “elite and commons” where politician of the state refers as elite and commons are the people living in the country under their rule. So when elite group exploits the living structure  for normal people then the structure of the state get worse due to problems of people such as education, hospitalization, water, corruption or any problem which is being faced by people and it damages infrastructure of state as the problems are not related to some individual, these issues are faced by majority.

So there should be one thing straight to the fact that state would never be achieving it’s respect and goals in global world until or unless their administration bodies work according to the right approach of populism and give benefits to the common people which they promised to them, otherwise you will see people will soon declare elections as a play. As a Pakistani citizen, I would encourage people to go and vote no matter what happens and support democracy and I hope democracy would also support people.
