ICAP hosts member’s convocation ceremony

Karachi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) hosted Member’s Convocation Ceremony for the newly qualified Chartered Accountants on October 29, 2020 at a local hotel in Karachi.

170 newly qualified CAs of the Southern Region received their certificates, 3 students were awarded gold medal for outstanding performance and 12 students received merit certificates.

Mr. Khalilullah Shaikh, FCA, President ICAP congratulated the newly qualified chartered accountants and their parents on achieving the milestone and welcomed them to the CA fraternity. He urged that the newly qualified students should continue their liaison with the Institute as members. The Institute is always there to support members and students regarding their  career progression aspirations. The qualified students should work hard, be honest to the profession, equip themselves with the latest technology to be successful in years to come, he added.

Syed Amir Ali, FCA (President and CEO Bank Islami) congratulated the qualifying students and urged the students to focus on their career path and also contribute towards the betterment of the society. The professionals should acquire multidisciplinary skills and work hard to develop soft skills.

Mr. Khalilullah Shaikh, FCA, President ICAP distributed certificates among the newly qualified chartered accountants, gold medallist and merit certificate holders. The program ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Arsalan Khalid, Chairman SRC followed by dinner.
