Nasser Janjua resigns as national security advisor

National Security Advisor of Pakistan Nasser Khan Janjua on Wednesday tendered his resignation, the office confirmed.

However, the office gave no further clarification on why Janjua took this decision.

Janjua served as the NSA since October 23, 2015. Commissioned in the Punjab Regiment of Pakistan Army, he commanded the crucial Southern Command and was also the commanding officer of XII Corps
