Pakistan’s Javeria Shakeel among winners of 6th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF presented 7000 USD for her project ‘Enent’ that aims to present solutions to cut electricity losses by 20%.

32 successful startups were shortlisted by the international jury of the forum for participation in the final stage of the Forum – DemoDay held on 1 December 2020 to win the awards in total amount of 20.000 USD.

The first money award of 10,000 USD was presented to: “DeenTutor” project by Nursultan Askarbekuli from Kazakhstan. The project aims to help Muslim beginners to find the qualified religious scholars. Javeria Shakeel from Pakistan got second money award of 7,000 USD for her project named “Enent” which aims to present solutions to cut electricity losses by 20%. The third cash award of 3000 USD was presented to: “Laminate it” a project by Ruslan Vorobyev from Russia. The project aims to present advanced IT solutions for the remote production of complex composite products in the aerospace, shipbuilding and construction industries. The awards were presented by Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF during 6th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum held in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, on 1 December 2020.

The 6th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum co-organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF, Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, SELET Youth Movement and OIC Project Office of Tatarstan provided online trainings and courses for 200 startups from 44 countries since June 2020. The international partners of the Forum were OIC Youth Forum, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation – Росмолодежь, INNOLAND Incubation & Acceleration Center, Ak Bars Bank and Ejad Labs.

The event was attended by Taliya Minullina, Chief Executive of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency;- Elmaddin Mehdiyev, Director General of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF;- Konstantin Kolpakov, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation;- Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (OIC Youth Forum);- Damir Fattakhov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF);- Mr. Alexander Bugaev, Head of the at Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation; and Closing Ceremony was graced by Emil Khairutdinov, Public Sector Director of Ак Барс Банк;- Mammad Karim, Director of the INNOLAND Incubation & Acceleration Center, the Republic of Azerbaijan;- Timur Suleymanov, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan;- Alexander Borisov, Director of Kazan IT Park.
