Speakers urge Pakistani youth to become a source of communicating the Kashmir cause to international community

ISLAMABAD: YFK-International Kashmir Lobbying Group organized a seminar titled, “Commemorating Solidarity with Kashmiris” in collaboration with Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue and Department of Politics, IR and Urdu, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).

Mr. Qamar Zaman Kaira highlighted the continuous support that Pakistani nation and government have been extending for the cause of the Kashmir struggle. He reiterated that the efforts will continue in the future as well. According to him, the issue of Kashmir is alive due to the sacrifices of Kashmiri themselves.

Ambassador Mr. Abdul Basit highlighted that it is an era of consistent soft diplomacy backed by strategy. It is a prime time for Pakistani youth to do research about the Kashmir issue and counter the Indian arguments.

Mr. Zaman Bajwa briefly described that the Indian atrocities in IIOJK ranging from rape to fake encounters and custodial killings demand humanitarian attention from youth and international community.

APHC leader Sheikh Abdul Mateen reiterated that IIOJK is the region where people have been facing Indian crackdowns, torture, and brutalities for seven decades.

VP IIUI Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani expressed his gratitude for collaborating with the university and highlighted that IIUI will continue focusing on highlighting national, regional and international issues.
