Zong 4G Hosts NIPA Delegation, Sharing Insights on Telecom Leadership & Digital Innovation

Islamabad, February 21st, 2025 – Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading digital connectivity provider, welcomed a delegation from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Islamabad, as part of the Local Visit – Field Research (LV-FR) segment of the 37th Senior Management Course (SMC). The visit provided senior civil officers with insights into the private sector’s operational framework, policy formulation, and role in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.

The delegation, led by Ms. Samreen Zahara, DG SMC, Chief Instructor-SMC, engaged with Zong 4G’s CEO Huo Junli and Executive Director Corporate Affairs Syed Naveed Akhtar. Participants were briefed on the company’s strategic initiatives, technological advancements, and contributions to Pakistan’s telecom and digital infrastructure. Key discussions covered network expansion, customer-centric and sustainable initiatives, with a focus on emerging technologies like cloud computing, DICT, and AI, while also emphasizing the importance of information security and data governance.

Participants toured Zong 4G’s newly developed Tier III certified data centre. The visit concluded with an exchange of shields and gifts, with NIPA presenting a token of appreciation to Zong 4G’s CEO, and Zong 4G reciprocating with a gift for DG NIPA & the delegation.

The Executive Director Corporate Affairs at Zong 4G, Syed Naveed Akhtar remarked, “Zong 4G remains committed to engaging with key stakeholders across sectors to contribute to Pakistan’s digital transformation journey. We aim to strengthen collaboration, share expertise, and drive innovation to shape the future of Pakistan’s telecom industry.”
