Promotion of dialogue culture among youth stressed

ISLAMABAD: Addressing a reception hosted by Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and the QAU Alumni Association, Irfanul Haque Siddiqui, chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training, emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue, upholding democratic standards, and teaching young people in universities the values of peace, tolerance, responsible citizenship, and harmony.

According to a press release, Senator Siddiqui praised QAU’s and its alumni’s contributions to Pakistan’s socioeconomic development.

Shields were handed to ambassadors and vice chancellors by the senator, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali, vice chancellor of the QAU, and Murtaza Noor, secretary general of the Alumni Association.

Ambassadors from Kazakhstan and Greece, and a fraternity of academicians from different varsities attended the gathering.
