NAB prepares cases against six top PML-N leaders, arrests likely after Eid

ISLAMABAD: New cases have been prepared in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against six senior leaders of the PML-N. There is a strong possibility of major arrests by the NAB after Eid. NAB has tightened its grip on opposition leaders. NAB sources said that after Eid, cases are ready against six senior leaders of PML-N under which NAB can also arrest them. It has been reported that NAB has collected important evidence against PML-N President Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Amir Muqam and Javed Latif and action will be taken against all these political personalities after Eid while the names of the families of these personalities will also be included in the new cases against whom NAB will likely to take action. According to the sources, NAB Lahore has claimed that concrete evidence has also been obtained against Shahbaz Sharif and his family. Sources also said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) can arrest former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on the basis of gathered evidence in ten cases against former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, including his family members.

NAB sources said that it has completed the investigation against Rana Sanaullah’s assets beyond income and important evidences have also been obtained. NAB sources said that Rana Sanaullah will also join NAB soon after Eid. A case has also been prepared in NAB against PML-N’s Mian Javed Latif and arrest warrants may be issued against him at any time. NAB has also prepared a new case against Ahsan Iqbal. NAB is investigating illegal recruitments against Ahsan Iqbal and NAB says that NAB has evidence against Ahsan Iqbal.

A case has also been registered against Amir Muqam in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with assets exceeding income. NAB sources said that NAB has also collected concrete evidence against Amir Muqam and after Eid, NAB There will also be these actions.
