ISLAMABAD: (By Junaid Qayyum Abbasi) Senior political leader Senator Zafar Ali Shah has said that the decision of the government to activate the construction industry and provide real estate relief package is welcome and it will yield great results in the future. Work in the real estate and construction industries will increase and more than 50 other related industries will be run, new employment opportunities will be created in the country, Syed Zafar Ali Shah added, adding that no tax has been imposed by the government in the current budget. Gaya has also given more relief to the business sector by significantly reducing the duration and rate of capital gains tax. It is hoped that this will make the business sector more active. Syed Zafar Ali Shah was addressing a function in Islamabad as the chief guest.
FPCCI General Body Member Muhammad Naveed Malik, Amir Baloch, Muhammad Waleed, Amir Hamza, Shahrooz Iqbal, Adin Ahmed and others were also present on the occasion. Addressing the function, FPCCI General Body Member Muhammad Naveed Malik said that the government welcomes relief packages and tax breaks for the business sector including real estate. These measures will boost business and end the economic crisis, unemployment and hope for a new era of prosperity. To begin with, if the government gives relief to the business sector, the country will surely set new milestones of economic development. Muhammad Naveed Malik presented a shield to Syed Zafar Ali Shah on the occasion.
