ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Information Technology and Telecommunication Minister, Dr. Umar Saif, emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting high-tech skills among youth and encouraging the adoption of advanced technologies in local industries. He stated that this initiative aims to create a digitally literate society in Pakistan by providing necessary infrastructure and enhancing the demand for IT skills. Dr. Saif highlighted the importance of skilled workers in driving economic development and stated that the government is dedicated to expanding the IT industry’s role in Pakistan’s economic growth. Additionally, he mentioned ongoing digitization efforts to improve transparency in the financial landscape and attract international students to the region for IT studies.
