KARACHI: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has taken notice of a white paper issued by the Aircraft Owners and Operators Association (AOOA) on the shortcomings of the aviation industry.
Furthermore, sources alleged that the council has requested a response from the Ministry of Aviation regarding the white paper – which asserted that a lack of professionalism led to pilot license issues, resulting in a prohibition on Pakistani airlines’ operations in the European Union (EU) countries.
The SIFC guaranteed that an inquiry will be initiated against those liable for the decline of the aviation sector, and a report will be presented to the Prime Minister.
