MULTAN: CCRD (Center for Community Research & Development) – a transgender-focused think tank is going to be launched in Multan. The youth-led institute will aim to perform research and advocacy concerning topics related to the Transgender community.
Talking to The Dayspring, Saad Shahbaz, the founder of CCRD said that the organization will use research, evidence and data for advocacy and policy recommendations to Public and private institutes for the sustainable development of transgender people in Pakistan. The organization will also be collaborating with government organizations and other key stakeholders for community development especially in South Punjab, he added.
