5 Hollywood Movies of March

After a long wait March will be the month to release the first Superhero movie for the year. This year Sci-fi fans have high expectations and the excitement keeps increasing as we have several superhero movies on the line waiting to be released.

March will give us a mixture of genres to enjoy from animations, romance, and sci-fi to thrillers. So there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral

Release Date: 01 Mar 2019 | Cast: Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis, Courtney Burrell, Patrice Lovely

Tyler Perry is back with the 11th Tyler Perry’s Madea film series. Perry will be playing several characters in the film including the titular role of Madea. 

Synopsis: A family reunion that turns into a sad yet hilarious mess in a form of a funeral. The family is unexpectedly thrown in to plan the funeral while some unsavoury family secrets get revealed.

Captain Marvel

Release Date: 08 Mar 2019 | Cast: Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, Jude Law

The first superhero movie of the year is one of the most awaited movies since the hinted reveal in Avengers: Infinity War. The trailers were well received by the fans and everyone waits expectantly for the new superhero in town.

Synopsis: Back in 1995 when the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D (Samuel L. Jackson) haven’t had any encounters with superheroes or didn’t even know the existence of extra-terrestrial life, he meets Captain Marvel. Originally a human and an ex-U.S Air Force fighter pilot Carol Danvers meets with an accident and acquires Kree DNA and becomes an officer of the elite Kree military unit Starforce. She is caught between the Kree-Skrull war and with the help of Nick Fury, she must defend Earth.

The Kid

Release Date: 08 Mar 2019 | Cast: Chris Pratt, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ethan Hawke, Dane DeHaan, Adam Baldwin

The movie is based on the story of the infamous American western outlaw Billy the Kid. Directed by Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil, Jurassic World) the story would be shown through the point of a young boy named Rio (Jake Schur).

Synopsis: While on the run, Rio witnesses the encounter between the outlaw Billy the Kid (Dane DeHaan) with Sheriff Pat Garrett (Ethan Hawke).

Five Feet Apart

Release Date: 15 Mar 2019 | Cast: Cole Sprouse, Haley Lu Richardson

Synopsis: Stella (Haley Lu Richardson), a cystic fibrosis patient meets Will (Cole Sprouse) who also is a patient of the same condition. Their attraction towards each other sets restrictions to maintain a distance of five feet between each other.

Synopsis: Husband and wife Gabe (Winston Duke) and Adelaide (Lupita Nyong’o) take their children for a vacation to their beachfront home. Adelaide is haunted by a traumatic experience from her past and worries that something bad would happen. The family vacation gets interrupted when four masked strangers arrive at their home.
