My Heart in Silence

PoemsMy Heart in Silence
By: Tehreem Amjad

On glaring Days,

And mortal nights;

Demons on my mind,

Get stronger.

On the strangest nights,

If I get to sleep;

I see nightmares,

Of my forlorn past.

On storms of torment,

Still so brave and quiet;

And believed in me.

Chaos in my soul,

Ceding it to evils;

My heart in silence,

Still think of you.

She has gone astray,

Scattered in shadows;

Darker the demons,

Standing fearlessly,Darkest the soul.
