Staff increased at Lady Reading Peshawar, provision of medical facilities is priority, Dr. Khalid Masood

PESHAWAR, 15th Dec, 2018 : Lady Reading Hospital the largest hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have it’s staff increased with 400 nurses been deployed. The number of nurses in LRH has risen to 918, before that the hospital consisting of 1800 bedrooms was carrying services of only 500 nurses which were not enough. According to Nursing Director of LRH Miss Shaheen Ghani, the number of nurses in ICU has been increased from five to 24, as well as keeping the requirements of emergency we have increased the number of nurses from 50 to 105, she said. Adding that after the MIT reforms, the hospital has been working on priority basis to meet the reduction of nurses. While talking to media hospital Director Dr.Khalid Masood said that in the last three years the nursing division of LRH has taken revolutionary measures regarding nursing training in which modern nursing skilled laboratory is a great success. Dr. Khalid Masood further mentioned that providing timely and standard medical facilities to all patients is our top most priority.
